In a stacked elite field, she proves she belongs

What happens when Punk Rock Racing athlete Angela Naeth flies halfway around world to a huge race just three weeks after she wins a half-Ironman? She takes second place in a rather impressive elite field.

That's right: For the second time in less than a month, Angela stood on a podium last weekend, this time at the Abu Dhabi International Triathlon.

At one of the world's post popular triathlons, Angela came out of the water in 9th place, then began passing other women and proving that her cycling is as strong as ever. She moved up to 2nd place, and then took the lead, which she held for an hour-and-a-half out of the five-hour bike race.

Angela started the run in 2nd place and held onto that position for the entire run, beating some very well-known elite women, including the current Ironman 70.3 World champion. And this was just three weeks after she won Ironman 70.3 Panama

Congratulations, Angela. You've worked hard, and Punk Rock Racing is so very proud of you.
