PxRx is fighting cancer

$10 per shirt goes to the cause

Since every single one of us knows someone affected by cancer, Punk Rock Racing is teaming up with an Ironman athlete to help find a way to beat the disease. All you have to do is order a tech shirt from our limited remaining supply, and $10 from each shirt will go directly to the fund. Your options are the Punk Rock Racing tech shirt or the "Runner Runner Runner" tech shirt.

The man behind the fundraiser is a multiple Ironman finisher named Christopher Wilno, who in 2004 decided to run a marathon to honor his dad, who died of leukemia. Chris went on to run more marathons, and then began entering full Ironman competitions. He's raised more than $100,000 for cancer research, and along the way his wife has twice battled and beaten cancer. Chris wants to do more, because he keeps meeting more people who are fighting cancer.

The latest cancer fighter is a college student named Ryan, who conquered kidney disease as a child but is now battlling Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Chris is racing 216.8 miles for Ryan, with the goal of raising $15,000. He started the mileage with the California International Marathon in December. Next up is the American River 50-Mile Endurance Run, which will be his first ultra (and his first time racing on trails). And then he'll take on Ironman Coeur d’Alene in June.

And so, Punk Rock Racing has pledged to donate $10 for each tech shirt sold. They're limited to the quantity on hand (some of which are running pretty low in stock), but we hope to sell every single shirt.
