Jeanne DeBonis summer 2013 update

Podiums and international qualification

Punk Rock Racing’s own Jeanne DeBonis has been busy tearing up the Olympic distance triathlon circuit in 2013.

Not only has Jeanne qualified to represent the United States as the ITU World Championships in London next month, she’s posted some impressive results in this highly competitive distance.

In June, Jeanne took the top Masters spot and 2nd overall female at the USAT Mideast Regional Championship with an impressive time of 2:16:55. Less than a month later Jeanne was back in action at the Tri Del Sol with a finish time of 2:20:49 and 1st place female. Just a week later, she stood on the podium as the 3rd place overall female at the Pittsburg Tri.

Most recently, Jeanne participated in the 2013 USAT National Championship. Even as she struggled with an injury, she managed to finish in 2:23:26 and qualify for the 2014 ITU World Championship in Edmonton.

Jeanne is now an “international” badass triathlete and we wish her all the best and safe travels as she heads to London.
