Jeanne wins REV3 Cedar Point

It's her 2nd overall win this year

With Kona just around the corner, Punk Rock Racing’s own Jeanne Debonis took advantage of a local event to get in a little “training” prior to the big dance in October, and she did not disappoint.

Jeanne entered the REV3 Cedar Point 70.3 triathlon and led the 45-49 age group division from start to finish, but that wasn’t the most impressive story of the day. Jeanne’s 32:08 swim, 2:38 bike and 1:36 run resulted in an overall finish time of 4:50:54 and landed her at the top of all female athletes for the day.

With the increased popularity of triathlons, the sport is seeing stronger and stronger athletes competing, so winning your age group is pretty impressive. But taking the top female spot out of the entire field at 49 years young is almost unheard of. Oh, and let's not forget that she also won a triathlon in May.

Congratulations Jeanne. We can’t wait to see you in Kona.
