Sonja Wins Harvest Moon Triathlon

Yet another 70.3 podium finish

For the third time in two months, Punk Rock Racing's Sonja Wieck stood atop a podium this weekend.

This time, Sonja was the first female to finish the Harvest Moon Triathlon 70.3, held in Aurora, Colorado. In July, Sonja won her age group in Racine. Three weeks later, she took first place at the Ironman 70.3 Boulder triathlon.

Sunday marked the second consecutive year that Sonja won the race; last year she won by 12 seconds, and this year she won by 12 minutes.

As if that's not enough good news, fellow Punk Rock Racing athlete Michelle Ford took 2nd place in her age group and was 6th overall. Sonja and Michelle are both headed to the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii next month. Needless to say, we approve of their training outfits:
